NEW GOALS FOR CHINA’S BANKS –

BEST PRACTICE FROM HANNOVER OR HOW SUCCESFUL BANKING OPERATES

HANNOVER. 01/28/16. Distinguished visitors from the Chinese banking industry in Yunnan were found at the branch of Commerzbank in Hanover on the 28th of January 2016. 20 branch directors, senior managers and the deputy president of Fudian-Bank received an informative overview of the general banking industry in Germany and the restructured formation of the Commerzbank. Participants of the delegation group showed particular interest in the structure and the high efficiency of the German banking system. The extraordinarily relevant issue of the reconstruction of the banking sector in Germany and China made both sides become interested in an exchange.

On the German banking landscape and the special institution of the General Association Niedersächsischer Kreditinstitute e.V. the association director Rainer Bartlau offered comprehensive insights. The impact and benefits of the extraordinary combination of 28 member institutions in Lower Saxony were discussed. Various follow-up questions about both fields were fully answered. Answers focused primarily on the structural organization and efficiency improvement measures in the banking sector.

A bank introduction of a special kind was offered to the delegation participants through the comprehensive orientation of Commerzbank on customer needs. Impressed was the group also by the presented numbers of efficiency, as well as the handling of the run down segments. Thorsten Koch, member of the management in Hannover, stressed the bank’s orientation to the customer value, by demonstrating fair and competent handling of all customer groups.

The transfer of knowledge and exchange supports the current reform efforts of state reconstruction in China. The on-site information visits were preceded by manager-trainings with different focuses.

The organization of the information-visit was again held by Dr. K&K ChinaConsulting– a consulting company with a focus on China. To Managing Director Dr. Diana Kisro-Warnecke one aspect is always primarily important: „Next to consulting projects for companies, the automotive industry, IT, logistics and education, is especially the assignment to facilitate mutual economic relations and intensify market success important. We also like to strengthen our home region Lower Saxony by establishing international contacts and China competencies in the local area by offering training courses. Our location is very international; we value this and encourage further expansion of international relations.“
